Hoggathan at Moonrakers

We all know where to go on a weekend for sea food,though it involves a bit of travelling. Yes its Moonrakers at Mahabs. On a weekend this place attracts effin crowd,both local & foreigners alike. We were 9 hungry souls hit this place pretty late around 2.30 pm this sunday(06/1/13) for lunch. It helped that we booked a table in advance. It took them a full 20 mins to ask for our orders. this delay is an ordeal worth the wait. Once the food started coming,there wasn't no stopping & served in time. We ordered quite a lot of dishes starting with their signature dish Calamari Tawa Fry,Calamari Golden Fry(Calamari coated with bater),Prawn fry(Tawa & bater coated) tuna fry,sheer fish,steamed rice with fish curry,calamari pasta...well after a point of time,I lost count of dishes we ordered. For dessert they have this thing called Nutella Pan Cake,so nice. we orderd so much they started disappearing in a jiffy,once they reached the table. On the whole a terrific lunch,which we finished by 6 pm!!!
