Avanthi had to say this--
A wonderful evening spent in a company of wonderful people and Belgian chocolate I've Creams!! Went for the Magnum ice cream class with Chef Biswas!
Blind tasted some chocolates which were Swiss Belgian and French. Although the chocolates weren't the same kind to really differentiate their origins. We also got to make our own sundae with a bunch of spices and other toppings. Our table made the following: bottom with star anise then some magnum classic topped with crushed basil leaves and almond clusters topped with magnum almond and truffle ice cream a hint of black pepper and kiwi and chocolate sauce and finally topped with some strawberries and some more basil. The result u may wonder if it was edible reading the list, but it was absolutely delicious! The flavor of basil balanced the heat of the pepper very well which was smoothed and rounded by the chocolate! We were amazed by the results!! Gave me ideas for new flavors at Bellaria ;) a big thanks to Aarti and fazil for giving me this opportunity — at Hyatt.

Who can say no to Chocolates? or for that matter Ice Creams, especially with Summer waiting to sneak up on us? Right! That is exactly what went through my mind when I saw the email invite to the Launch of Magnum Ice Cream event.
On 27th March’13, evening I landed at The Hyatt Regency,Teynampet,Chennai along with few other Foodies and bloggers.
The session began fashionably late, instead of 7.30pm, it started at 8 pm and then went on for a good hour. We had a blast during the one hour session, tasting different kinds of chocolates, ice creams, making our own Sundae and having a few minutes with the Chef. Oh, and we noticed the place was packed with quite a few Page 3 celebs, including Actor Prashanth [who just stood in the background] and I did spot Arya as we were leaving the Hotel.
