The outlet i visited was the one in Egmore and it was World Donut Day- June1st and they had an offer " Buy 1 get 1 free".. How cool is that? So, on the way back from a meeting, i hopped into the place and brought home 2 boxes of 6 donuts in all.. This was not my 1st visit to the Donut house, but it was the 1st time i was there alone.. The very 1st visit was to catch up with a friend, when we split a sandwich and had a cool drink.. The 2nd time was a meeting with my partner & a PR agency... So, this was a special visit of sorts!! I have had donuts in many many many places, and also know how to make them at home [ i did attend a bakery class thanks to a friend wanting to learn cooking/baking before she tied the knot] Since then, i had made donuts at home plenty of times, but they were all the usual boring donuts with chocolate icing. Alas, the oven died a not so pleasant death and since then no baking, unless it can be cooked in a micro wave oven. This brought an end to my Donut making days...!! This lil cafe out in OMR took my heart away! so i decided to write about it although I couldnt get any great pics from there. The cafe is bright yellow colored lifting your mood just in a matter seconds. Love the cheer that donuts bring to your soul, but love it even more when the donuts are freaking awesome!I also got to try the Donut House in Express Avenue Mall same yumm yumm! So this review comes with whole-hearted recommendation for the chain. Before anything the must-try in here is the Donut Burger! I mean whoever came up with it is a genius. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Just imagine a bite that has a taste of Sugar Donut, crispy pattie, flavorful cheese and yummy veggies! Total Bliss! Well the only problem was with the sauce, bbq sauce didnt really go well with it, you can always ask for them to remove it. The Donuts I have tried until now and all are awesome are - Butterscotch (drooool!), Mango, White Chocolate and Strawberry. They also have sandwich combos with milkshake shots for a quick lunch. There are a lot many to drink too - loved the iced latte and various flavors of iced tea. Also, worth a mention, the Lychee Mint Cooler which was only available in the Express Avenue food court stall, everybody must try it, even if you don;t like mint like me! NOT TO BE MISSED!

Awesome Donuts, missed the unlimited donuts by a day.. Accidentally landed up here today with a friend, nice ambiance, lot of options, should come back on Thursday's and try the unlimited ones to grab a chance to try more donuts.. 55 bucks each seems to be little pricy.. but taste was awesome. We had triple chocolate and Swiss Marbie.. wow, wow, wow.. it was.

A big fan of Donut House and their Donuts. Always end up buying the half a dozen Donuts offer or 12 for 9 offer. Happy that they are open in Besant Nagar and good to know they are expanding across the city. No particular favorites as they have a variety of Donuts to choose from but Alien is always picked up every single time. Anyways the latest purchase for the family and friends.

Went there post lunch on a Sunday. The entire building facade looked worn out except for the donut place.. I wish they'd open the gate right in front of Donut House owing to having to walk on debris when entering from the main entrance. Coming back to the purpose, needless to say, I was surprised to find an array of flavours especially the chilli cheese ones. But for us, donuts mean sugary rush. I guess we need to develop our palate for a savoury one. We had a difficult time choosing and finally narrowed down to a Chocolate and cream, Praline and Irish cream. Sticky, gooey and creamy were they just the way we like our donuts. Definitely a winner with my family and value for money too.

Donuts on you mind? Then this is the place to be. I am not a big fan of their sandwiches or their milkshakes and quiet frankly would not recommend then to anyone either. But if you are in the mood for donuts the don't go anywhere else.
