I've dined a few times at Data Udipi Hotel and I quite love the place.It is a quaint, simple restaurant that serves authentic food.The one great thing about this place is that, it's not just business for the owners, it's more of a tradition passed down generations and they take their job very seriously.I also learnt that they use some effective techniques to avoid food wastage like making a broth from all left over veggies and sometimes healthy soup.They serve this free of cost to the customers who dine at the restaurant.This is also served to the poor around the area.Also, this keeps changing everyday and I should say it is quite tasty.The day I dined there, I got to taste Beetroot broth and it was yummy and healthy.The food itself is very very tasty and pretty much tastes like home made food and that's the beauty of it.Excellent place for south indian food and definitely value for money!!
