Last week Sunday I went with my Friends to celebrate one of my friend birthday in Thalappakatti. Usually for my family i order food online from masalastreet.com here more no of Restaurant , Cuisine and free Home Delivery, Cash On Delivery . We went to medavakkam branch to celebrate . We have order STARTER,BIRYANI (NON-VEG),TANDOORI items finally Dindugul thalappakatti special Ice Cream really awesome food.

Well I know one would say this place is obviously not for vegetarians but I personally think they should make the place vegetarian friendly too. They do serve veg biryani and parotas and other things they we would love to try. The place looks very hygenic and clean from outside and I hope they will maintain the smell and cleaniness of the place too, with the amount of crowd that comes in that you cant even sit down for 30 minutss when you go in here for lunch. Well, the one in Ashok Nagar looks all hi fi with a view from the top floor, but I tried only the nungambakkam one, planning to drop in to the ashok nagar one pretty soon!

4 people. 300 kms of biking. So much tired and hungry. Finally reached Dindigul Thalappakatti in ECR. Wonderful restaurant with good ambiance. Orders were taken on iPhone and transferred wirelessly to kitchen- "WOW". What to order when you reach a Biriyani place? - Ordered 3 Chicken Biriyanis and an Egg Biriyani. There was no service delay. We got the biriyanis in around 10 minutes. Out of 4 ppl - three from Hyderabad one from Thalassery. All these places have their own biriyani tagged to the name. Gravies were good. But Biriyani totally disappointed. A comment from my angry Hyderabadi friend to the waiter sums up the whole affair - "Kya tune bagara rice mein chiicken daal ke diyaa?" - That was more of disappointment than anger. What do you feel when you met with an unexpected taste with a familiar food when you are tired and so hungry?
